Jacobacci, Rio Negro, Argentina
The Project is located 70km North of Ing. Jacobacci town, Rio Negro Province, Patagonia, Argentina. Mining leases covers 3.200 has.
Previously, it was known as Cabestro Quemado (IAM Gold) and is located 18 km NNE from Cañadón del Moro Project (ex IAM Gold) in the Somuncura Massif.
Mineralization system consist of ephitermal veins, veinlets, stockworks and “hot spring type deposits” hosted on rhyolitic volcanics. The dimension of the vein swarms are around 1.7 km long and 400 m wide.
Rock Chip sampling geochemistry returned values up to 2.9 ppm Au and 451 ppm Ag.
In general, veins thickness are up to 2 m showing crustiform-colloform and bladed textures with sacharoidal and crystalline quartz, chalcedony, porous grey silica and fine disseminated pyrite..
Anomalies of As, Ba, Sb, Hg and hot spring deposits indicated a higher position within an ephitermal mineralization system.
